Magnesium Lotion is my go-to for magnesium.
Most people are not getting sufficient magnesium. With magnesium involved in hundreds of biochemical reactions in our body, this can be lead to anxiety, muscle spasm, and insomnia. It is also quickly depleted when a person is experiencing stress.
When we are travelling, even when we are excited, stress goes up and our stores of magnesium goes down and we can feel more achy, struggle with sleep, and have more digestive issues. Throw on top of that, trying new foods, being in a new environment, dealing with time differences…
So I recommend travelling with magnesium lotion. And lymphatic cream, which I’ll talk about more further down.
Magnesium Lotion for Sleep & Relaxation
So I use Earthley’s Magnesium Lotion (previously called Good Night Lotion). The Original formula has lavender essential oil and I opt for the Sensitive one which is scent-free.
Magnesium Lotion comes in three sizes – 30 ml, 118 ml, and 237 ml. That’s 1 oz, 4 oz, and 8 oz. That’s handy since the smallest size fits into the zippy bag for carry-on. Or you can spoon some into an appropriate container. The 30ml/ 1 oz has a great price for you to test it out!

Lymphatic Support
I’m a big fan of Earthley’s lymphatic support with their cream and their new tincture.
I’ve been using Lymphatic Cream and Magnesium Lotion for years now. Whenever I feel a bit under the weather, I put a few dabs of the cream on my sinus areas, the nodes on my neck, and the back of my neck. I also do gua sha and lymphatic drainage work. If you’re looking for information, check out my lymphatic articles on the wellness platform I run, What Therapy. The latest book I read and recommend is The Book of Lymph.

Traditionally, before all the gua sha tools, we used a porcelain spoon. Nothing fancy, super effective. It’s literally scraping out the heat so on the body, it’s natural to see redness.
I haven’t tried Earthley’s Lymphatic Support. This is a new item that others were testing and reviewing while the product I was chosen for was Deep Lung Tincture. The reviewers loved the tincture!
Why I use Earthley
I discovered Earthley around 2021 and loved how they do everything in-house and use organic ingredients, where possible. Over the years, they have switched over to organic ingredients (aside from a few items like kokum butter). The prices at Earthely are reasonable and they focus on education. I have been an affiliate with them for several years now. When you use my referral links to purchase, you will be supporting Here to Explore Our World, which we are grateful for. My affiliate account is under What Therapy, my wellness platform that I’ve been running since 2012.
