San Luis Obispo County has a variety of farmers markets. Some are summer-only ones, with a few that are year-round. SLO Flower Collective also has Tuesdays and Thursdays Flower Market at Dallidet Adobe at 1185 Pacific Street in San Luis. Local flower farmers offer cut flowers for both wholesale and retail.

San Luis Obispo County Farmers’ Market Association (SLOFMA) [website]. This NPO supports farmers and the public. Currently they offer three year-round market days – Arroyo Grande, Morro Bay, and San Luis Obispo. As a participant of Market Match, SLOFMA offers an additional $15 at the Arroyo Grande Wednesday, Saturday San Luis Obispo, and Thursday Morro Bay Market.
Market Match [website] is a California incentive program. Participating farmers markets match certain amount of funds when using CalFresh EBT cards to purchase fruits and vegetables. Matching means your dollars are doubled. Participating farmers markets are only allowed certified farms. Market Match can also be found at CSAs, farm stands, and mobile farmers’ markets. Find out if you are eligible and complete their online application at getcalfresh.org. The Ecology Centre that runs this program can also work with businesses for other matches, such as Women, Infants and Children (WIC) benefits.

SLO Ranch is building community gardens. Individual plots are available for rental. Fees are $240/year or $180/year with promo discount code “FirstHarvest” which gives three months free.
