Flower Essences & Homeopathy for Travel

I love to travel, even taking long-haul flights. Changing timezones can affect our energy and vibrational frequencies. And even if you aren’t flying, we can be impacted by stressed-out people, unexpected changes, sudden weather shifts, etc.

So I travel with homeopathic remedies and flower essences. I also have a mobile quantum feedback app that I run for myself, family, friends, and clients. Plus we are both Jin Shin Jyutsu practitioners. The one simple and effective tip we share with others is to hold your thumb and each of your fingers before, during, and after your flight. There are many other hand holds and sequences that are more specific to the individual. This requires a conversation and we offer this in consultations.

Flower Essences

I first came across flower essences in university. Being an International Relations major, I had to write and present many history and political science papers. Talk about butterflies! Then I found Dr Bach’s Rescue Remedy, a combo that helps in emergency situations where there is panic, fear, dissociation, possible trauma, etc. This remedy helps to stabilize and addresses shock so the body is more able to respond. Please note that this does not replace medical attention or treatment. I’m merely sharing my own experience and this is not medical advice.

You can find Bach Flower Essences and other flower remedies in many health food shops. Also on amazon. If you want handmade essences that follow Dr Bach’s principles and teachings, check out Crystal Herbs. They’ve been making essences, including their own mother tinctures for over 30 years. They hand-pour and label their bottles by hand. This means that the essences aren’t disrupted by the energy of machinery and mass production. Check out their Revival Remedy (their name for the Rescue Remedy).

Homeopathy & Cell Salts

I bought a travel kit from Helios, which I gave to my mom. This one has 36 remedies. Over the years, certain remedies have become my go-to. For colds, bug bites, indigestion. So those are the ones I usually travel with. Just to share, and not as medical advice, I keep Belladona for fevers, Ferr Phos for early signs of a cold, Arnica for muscles, Ledum palustre for bites and puncture wounds (also Staphysagria)… The important thing about homeopathic remedies is matching the remedy to your condition. Each one addresses a number of conditions that are very specific so it’s important to read up on the remedies. For the constitutional, consult a homeopath.

I have the original Echo Flask for hydrogen-infused water. We naturally produce hydrogen in our body but stress and poor gut health can interfere with this. Current research suggests molecular hydrogen may reduce oxidative stress, support metabolism, enhance athletic recovery, improve cognitive and skin health, and reduce inflammation.
